Sonia Mundey is a single mum of two lovely kids, a girl and a boy. A talented interior designer, she runs her own business, creating beautiful spaces for her clients. As a Christian, her faith and trust in God saw her through the difficult years of an abusive marriage and its subsequent break up. She survived – and now she’s thriving, resilient and stronger than ever!
I’m an award-winning (Women Business Owner of the Year award 2019), business owner, experienced SME director and board member. I combine strong, hands-on leadership skills – particularly in nurturing, well-being and flexibility in the workplace – with strategic marketing and business strategy acumen. I have innate business skills and can quickly identify weak spots and opportunities, especially within leadership teams. I have sat on a board of 12, to grow and sell a national engineering firm (for 15 times earnings), worked for a global professional services firm, Deloitte, in London and have set up and grown a thriving design and creative agency in Hampshire, that I still own and manage to this day.
I enjoy spending time with loved ones, belly laughs, great food, visiting Fowey, cycling, Pilates and watching the six nations (ideally in a pub with a roaring fire).

As a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, she believes passionately that “people are people” and, no matter who they are, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Joanne was a contributor and featured in a Channel 4 (UK) documentary called “The Making of Me”, broadcast in February 2019. This documentary was filmed over a 3-year period and detailed her own personal gender transition and its impact on those around her. Joanne lives by the mantra of “Smile, Engage and Educate” in order to promote awareness and understanding to overcome people’s fear of getting it wrong, because the world isn’t only black and white!

Carly has been an entrepreneur for 4 years when she started her business Anaphase Store in 2015, Carly struggled through her educational years with being dyslexic and dyspraxic, but she has broken those barriers down to live out her dreams. Since receiving help from the Princes trust in early 2015, Carly has become a successful business mentor and ambassador to give back and help other people who may have the same struggles and give them confidence to blossom. Anaphase Store is Online and based in Cardiff. They stock their own designs and slogans printed onto Clothing ranging from new-born to 5XL; including friends themed designs, Homeware where they make their own candles and bath bombs in lots of wonderful scents, Cosmetics, Accessories, make up brushes and Holiday items for the upcoming Seasons.
Anaphase has won 7 business awards and has been shortlisted for 21 others. We have 8 reps around the country selling items on behalf of our business, 2 paid staff members and 3 interns.
Carly has met Prince Charles along with many celebrity ambassadors; she has even personally been invited to Buckingham Palace – Carly’s business.
